Christmas food parcels from Perła for Caritas charges

Perła – Browary Lubelskie S.A. once again supported Caritas in Lublin. A promotional car known from the last TV commercial of Perła arrived at the headquarters of Caritas of the Lublin Archdiocese. It transported 400 Christmas food parcels prepared by the employees of the brewery. The parcels included mainly food products with a long shelf life and a small, sweet treat due to the special time in which they will be delivered to the recipients.

Joint pre-Christmas campaigns of Perła and Caritas already have several years of tradition.

– We are aware that this extraordinary period is also a difficult time for people in need of support – the poor, homeless and lonely. We want them to be able to feel the magic of the holidays as well. – says Maciej Ładwiński, Marketing Director at Perła – Browary Lubelskie S.A. – Hence our visit to Caritas in Lublin today. Thanks to its employees and volunteers, our gift will go to people from Lublin and the surrounding towns who are in particular need of such help. The food parcels donated by Perła will be tangible support for these several hundred people. We are glad that once again we were able to fulfil the promise made in the Caritas headquarters that the help from the Lublin brewery will not be a one-off action – adds the director, Maciej Ładwiński.

This group is very numerous, but we feel that Perła’s involvement – very conscious and at the same time regular, one that we can be sure of when planning each next Caritas Christmas Eve – is a unique gift for us, gives us a sense of security – says the director of Caritas, Paweł Tomaszewski. – We would like to thank Perła – Browary Lubelskie for once again joining forces to make this Christmas time really special. Even for those whose lives have been marked by poverty, homelessness or loneliness – he sums up.
