Perła Fit – An Innovative Product in the Perła Brand Portfolio

Perła Fit is an innovative beer created as a result of a research and development project for which Browar Perła received funding from the National Centre for Research and Development. The aim of the project was to develop a new type of beer with a standardized sugar profile structure and low alcohol content, while maintaining desirable sensory qualities.

Perła Fit is a light, pale beer with an alcohol content of 3.4% ABV, distinguished by reduced caloric value and low sugar content. It contains only 1 g of sugar per 100 ml, while preserving what matters most – full flavor.

It is a proposition for people who take a conscious approach to health and diet but do not want to give up classic beer in favor of non-alcoholic options. There was a gap in the market for a product that provides the full beer-drinking experience (taste, refreshment, presence of alcohol) without being strongly associated with concerns about weight gain.

The target group for Perła Fit includes people with dietary restrictions who still want to enjoy drinking beer—those who are concerned about calories and sugar content and therefore want or need to control their consumption due to maintaining their physique, preserving the effort invested in diet and calorie burning, or for health reasons. Perła Fit offers them more enjoyment than other light beers (as it retains the full Perła flavor), while allowing them to indulge with fewer feelings of guilt.

The lightness of the beer is also emphasized by the packaging design – dominated by white and silver colors. For this project, the iconic Perła ribbon—the brand’s main visual element—has also been “slimmed down.”

The beer will be available on the market in the following formats: 0.5 L non-returnable bottle, 0.33 L non-returnable bottle, 0.5 L can, and kegs (intended for gastronomy venues and events).
