I. Background
- 1. The Perła Browery Underground is located in the historic buildings of former St. Casimir Church and the Monastery of Reformed Friars Minor at 15 Bernardyńska St. in Lublin.
- 2. The Perła Brewery Underground is s tourist route leading through the historic part of the formet church and monastery complex of Reformed Friars Minor and K.R. Vetter’s Brewery.
- 3. The Manager of the Perła Brewery Underground is Perła – Browary Lubelskie S.A., with its registered office at 15 Bernardyńska Street, 20-950 Lublin.
- 4. For the purpose of these Rules, the the terms below shall have the following meaning:
- Visitors – individuals or organised groups.
- Organised groups – a group of between 10 and maximum 20 people (adults and/or minors), including group leaders and a tour guide.
- Individual tourists – a person or a group of maximum 10 persons (adults and/or children)
II. Perła Brewery Underground opening days and hours.
- 1. The Perła Brewery Underground is open to individual and organised groups.
- 2. Tours of the Perła Brewery Underground are available:
- to organised groups, subject to individual date/time arrangement and upon prior booking,
- to individuals, upon prior booking:
- on Saturdays between 12:00 and 4:00 p.m. (entry at full hours, last entry at 3:00 p.m.),
- during the summer holiday season, between 1 June and 31 August, additionally on Wednesdays-Fridays, between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. (entry at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.),
- 3. Due to the limited number of persons who can stay at the Perła Brewery Underground at a time, individual visitors are recommended to make a prior booking.
- 4. The Brewery Underground is closed to visitors on public holidays: New Year’s Day (01/01), Three Kings’ Day (06/01), Easter, Corpus Cristi, Day of Assumption (15/08), All Saints’ Day (01/11), Independence Day (11/11), Christmas (25-26/12) and Christmas Eve (24/12), and New Year’s Eve (31/12).

- 6. The Manager reserves the right to change the opening times of the Perla Brewery Underground.
III. Admission to the Perła Brewery Underground. Bookings.
- 1. Visitors are admitted to the Brewery Underground after making a buy-a-brick donation.
- 2. The buy-a-brick donation certificates can be purchased from a Guide.
- 3. The following brick values are available: PLN 10 and PLN 20 for children, and PLN 20 and PLN 50 for adults.
- 4. Children aged under 6 can visit the Brewery Underground free-of-charge.

- Bookings are deemed accepted after the receipt of a confirmation message from a representative of the Perła Brewery Underground.
- 6. Individuals and organised groups may book tours at the latest on the day preceding the declared visit date.
- 7. Information on buy-a-brick donations is available at the Perłowa Pijalnia Piwa at 15A Bernardyńska Street, Lublin, on Perła website Perła Brevery Underground or by phone at: +48 669 611 981.
- 8. The buy-a-brick donations go towards securing and maintaining, and covering the day-to-day expenses of, the historic Brewery Underground and its surroundings to ensure its preservation, and to raise awareness of, and promote, its historic and cultural significance.
- 9. The Manager does not run economic activities in respect of making the Perła Brewery Underground available to visitors. Therefore, it is not possible to issue a VAT invoice or any other accounting documents confirming buy-a-brick donations referred to in Point 3 above.
IV. Brewery visiting rules
- 1. All tours of the Perła Brewery Underground are accompanied by a guide, employee of the Perła Brewery Underground.
- 2. A maximum of 20 visitors can enter the Perła Brewery Underground at a time.
- 3. Priority will be given to organised groups and individuals who have booked their tour in advance.
- 4. If the limit of visitors has been reached, the Brewery Underground Manager cannot guarantee entry to groups and individuals who have not booked in advance.
- 5. Individuals can visit the Brewery Underground on Saturdays from 12.00 to 4:00 p.m. (at full hours, with the last entry at 3:00 p.m.) or may join organised groups whose tours start at times set by the Guide.
- 6. Minors can visit the Perła Brewery Underground only when accompanied by an adult.
- 7. Visitors with minors under their care are responsible for the minors’ behaviour, and for any damage caused by them, including damage to exhibits, equipment or other elements in the building.
- 8. Visitors can take pictures, shoot videos and touch exhibits in the Brewery Underground.
- 9. Visitors must comply with the Guide’s remarks and instructions at all times.
- 10. Organised groups and individual visitors should arrive at the Brewery Underground at least 15 minutes before the booked time of the tour.
- 11. If visitor group arrives more than 10 minutes after the arranged time, the Guide can refuse entry or suggest another date or time.
- 12. If individual visitors and organised groups who have made a booking resign from their tour, they are obliged to notify the Perła Brewery Underground Manager of the fact.
- 13. The notice referred to in Point 12 above must be made at the latest 1 calendar day before the tour date, by phone at: +48 669 611 981 or by e-mail to: podziemiabrowaru@perla.pl.
- 14. The tour of the Perła Brewery Underground includes beer tasting. Beer tasting is only available to Visitors aged over 18. If there are any doubts as to the age of a given Visitor, the Guide may request a document confirming that he/she has reached the age of majority, and refuse to serve alcohol where no such proof is provided.
- 15. The Manager reserves the right to cancel booked tours at any time without stating a reason.
- 16. The Manager reserves the right to close some exhibition rooms or exhibits that have been broken down, damaged or destroyed.
- 17. The Manager may cancel the tour if the life or health of people on the Brewery premises is in danger. In such an event, visitors are entitled to a refund on their buy-a-brick donations.
- 18. The Manager reserves the right to archive photo or video materials produced during tours of the Perła Brewery Underground, with a view to further using them for publicity and advertising purposes, both in respect of the Perła Brewery Underground and the Manager’s business. This means that the Visitors, by taking part in the tour of the Perła Brewery underground, grant their consent for their image to be recorded and used for purposes laid down in the preceding sentence, without the right to remuneration on the said account.
- 19. The tour of the Perła Brewery Underground lasts approximately 60 minutes.
- 20. Due to its post-industrial nature, the Perła Brewery Underground is not adapted to the needs of persons with motor disabilities.
- 21. Visits to the Perła Brewery Underground are not recommended for persons suffering from epilepsy, claustrophobia or allergies.
V. Prohibited Behaviours
- 1. In order to provide safety and comfort to visitors, the Brewery Underground forbids to:
- stay on the premises of the Perła Brewery Underground while intoxicated with alcohol or drugs, or behave in a manner that compromises the safety of other visitors or the equipment, or cause public nuisance, or violate generally accepted norms of behaviour in public places;
- take out exhibits or any other objects located in the Perła Brewery Underground;
- move exhibits or any other objects outside the area in which they are displayed; damage equipment;
- bring pets to the Perła Brewery Underground other than guide dogs and assistance dogs for the disabled;
- bring alcohol;
- smoke tobacco;
- bring weapons, ammunition, explosive, flammable, and toxic materials or any other life- or health-threatening items;
- bring long umbrellas and large luggage;
- consume food.
- 2. The Perła Brewery Manager and/or Guide may refuse entry to individuals and organised groups which display the aforementioned behaviours or violate the tour order and the provisions of these Rules, or ask them to leave the Brewery Underground.
- 3. Perła Browary Lubelskie S.A. shall not be held liable for any injuries or accidents resulting from the Breach of these Visitor Rules.
VI. Final provisions
- 1. The booking of an entry to the Perła Brewery Underground, and participation in the tour is equivalent to reading and approving the provisions of these Rules.
